Foodlink is one of the largest food service distributors in the Greater Sydney Region.

The history and growth of Foodlink since is it's evolution in 2000 is truly inspiring and shows how hard work, putting your customers first, never giving up and good business sense makes for an extremely successful business.

A family run business Foodlink was started by Assad and Tarek Choker, in a small wharehouse in 2000 packing and supplying nuts to companies. Brother-in-law Ali Helbawi joined them in that same year and later on younger brother Bill Choker joined the business.

Foodservice however started much earlier for Assad and Tarek with both boys going to work in their fathers Foodservice Distribution company as soon as they left school. With over 20 years experience their father taught them everything they needed to know for when the day came that he would encourage them to go out on their own, A true mentor, Abbas made sure his boys started from the ground up working in all areas of his business from taking orders, picking, packing, delivering, selling, accounts, customer service and how to operate a business efficiently and effectively. He also taught them about always being in touch and available for your customers as well continuously ensuring that you are always offering what the customer needs and wants.

As their nut business grew so did demand from their clients for them to supply additional products. So in 2002 they started to supply seafood, then came the supply of frozen products not long after followed by dairy, chilled, dry goods, packaging and household cleaning products. Foodlink in no time became a one-stop-shop for it's clients and to this day they continue to source products as demand from their clients presents itself. By 2008 the business had grown so much that they had to move their business to a huge wharehouse facility in Banksmeadow. Foodlink has come along way in 13 years with a client base of more than 800 customers ranging from clubs, hotels, restaurants, caterers and airlines, making Foodlink one of the largest food service distributors in the Greater Sydney Region. They now employ over 60 people who work together to deliver fresh seafood, dairy & chilled produce, frozen and dry goods.

Although Foodlink has grown rapidly over the years their father's spirit of innovation, dedication and service lives on through his sons. Abbas Choker has retired but he still visits regularly with all his wisdom and experience on hand as required by his sons. This family owned and run business continues to maintain it's committment to customer satisfaction, reliability, diversity, sustainability as well as its MSC certification and HACCAP accreditation. You can be guaranteed that this is one of the only businesses around where you don't have to go through a PA to speak to the CEO or Director of the business. Their committment to their customers, along with strong familiy ties, inspiring work ethics, innovation and passion for what they do is what really sets them apart from everybody else and sees Foodlink continue to grow and definitely never be lost in the crowd.
